Fabulous location and food. Pleasant and efficient staff with great local knowledge. Huge units on to the patio. Variety of goodies for breakfast. Stunning old-fashioned hotel location just off nature, restaurant, the lakes.

Picturesque lakeside setting, Unique retro décor, Well-maintained outdoor spaces
The hotel really needs improved soundproofing!!! Dated decor and cleanliness issues are hard to overlook!!! The lack of accessible dining options felt quite inconvenient as well!!! Troublesome temperature control kept us too hot!!!

Location
Decor was very tired and drab. Food was of the microwave/cheap pub variety. The room was very hot and the road noise very loud. It was mainly used by contractors and not what I was expecting. I was glad to be travelling as a couple.

The room was very clean and tidy and felt generally comfortable. The catering staff were friendly although a little slow with service.
Some of the workmanship was sloppy i.e doors splashed in paint., but obviously this wasn't really a major issue.

We previously stayed in gravesend and this time, the lakeside room offered fine views of the serene water and lush greenery. The breakfast was a treat, with freshly baked croissants and a range of organic juices that energized our mornings. The cute atmosphere was great over the long weekend.
the wifi connection was unreliable.

We were traveling to europe and this was the second time we have used your hotel and found it satisfactory for our needs and would certainly use it again.
On our first visit we had a room which was more to the back of the hotel which was very good however this time the room was more to the front and while this room was very good sleep was disturbed by traffic noise from the A2
